2026 Bald Rock Lodge Room Rental Agreement

If the you wish to reserve is available, please fill out the two forms below. The top form is the Southern States indemnity Agreement. The second form is the State of Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, State Parks Division, liability waiver. Please “Submit” both forms to Southeastern Trail Runs when finished. You may also Print the forms (use the link below the online form) and after completion, email or mail them back to us.

There are three payment options. First, pay with Venmo. You may pay by check made out to Southeastern Trail Runs and mailed to the address on the form. Third, you can pay through Ultrasignup. Just go to the “Store” icon on Ultrasignup and reserve the room for the desired number of nights. Of course, Ultrasignup charged additional fees and tax.

If you choose to mail a check, you may print the forms, fill them out by hand, and include them with a check for $160.00 per night. If you choose to mail a check, your requested room type will be held for 5 days. If we have not received your check within that 5-day period, the room will be available to rent by others.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS I understand that staying at Bald Rock Lodge in Cheaha State Park and participating in or attending the Southern States 200 event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: • Use of lodge facilities, rooms, and common areas • Participation in event-related activities • Travel to and from the facility • Use of park grounds, trails, and facilities • Interaction with other participants and the natural environment RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY In consideration for being permitted to use lodge accommodations and participate in Southern States 200 activities, I hereby: 1. RELEASE AND DISCHARGE the following parties from all liability: • State of Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources • Alabama State Parks Division • Southern States Events and its organizers • Cheaha State Park and Bald Rock Lodge • All employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives of the above entities 2. WAIVE ALL CLAIMS for any injury, damage, loss, or expense that may occur, including: • Personal injury or death • Property damage or loss • Medical expenses • Any other damages, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen 3. ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY for my own safety and conduct during: • Lodge accommodation stay • Event participation or attendance • Use of park facilities and grounds • Any related activities INDEMNIFICATION I agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS all released parties from any claims, lawsuits, or expenses (including attorney fees) that may arise from: • My use of lodge accommodations • My participation in event activities • Any injury or damage I may cause to others • Any violation of park rules or regulations ACKNOWLEDGMENTS • I am at least 19 years of age • I have read and understand this agreement in its entirety • I am signing this voluntarily without coercion • This agreement represents the complete understanding between all parties • This agreement is governed by Alabama state law By electronically signing this agreement I certify that I have read, understand and accept all terms and conditions set forth above. Release and Indemnity Agreement - Group KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS THAT I/we

Being of lawful age, for and in consideration of entry on or the use of park land or property, do hereby release and forever discharge the State of Alabama, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Parks Division, or its agents, employees or partners, Southern States Events, or its agents, employees or partners and all persons associated with the Southern States 200, from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands for, upon, or by reason of any damage, loss, or injury, expenses and compensation whatsoever, which the undersigned now has/have or which hereafter may accrue on account of or in any way of growing out of any and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen bodily and personal injuries and property damage and the consequences therefore resulting or to result from the accident, casualty, or event which might occur while in the use of or upon park land or property. In further consideration of entry on or the use of park land and property, the undersigned herby agrees to save harmless and indemnify the said State of Alabama, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Parks Division, or its agents, employees or partners, of and from any and all expenses arising because of any claim which may hereafter be presented by anyone for loss and damage or personal injury as a result of any accident occurring in or upon park land. The undersigned further declare(s) and represent(s) that no promise, inducement or agreement not herein expressed has been made to the undersigned, and that this RELEASE contains the entire agreement between the parties hereto, and that the terms of this RELEASE are contractual and not a mere recital. By electronically signing and dating this agreement, you agree to all terms and conditions stated in this Indemnity Agreement.
