2026 Bald Rock Lodge Room Rental Agreement

If the you wish to reserve is available, please fill out both forms below. The top form is the Southern States Rental Agreement. The second form is the State of Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, State Parks Division, liability waiver. “Submit” both forms to Southeastern Trail Runs. You may also Print the forms (use the link below the online form) and after completion, email or mail them back to us. There are three payment options. First, pay with Venmo. You may also send a check made out to Southeastern Trail Runs, noting for “Bald Rock Lodge Room” and mailed to the address below. Third, you can pay through Ultrasignup. Just go to the “Store” icon on Ultrasignup and reserve the room for the desired number of nights. Of course, Ultrasignup charged additional fees at tax.

If you choose to mail a check, you may print the forms, fill them out by hand, and include them with a check for $160.00 per night. If you choose to mail a check, your requested room type will be held for 5 days. If we have not received your check within that 5-day period, the room will be available to rent by others.

FORM 1 - SOUTHEASTERN TRALI RUNS RENTAL AGREEMENT

SOUTHERN STATES EVENTS RENTAL AGREEMENT FOR BALD ROCK LODGE ROOMS. PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM COMPLETELY AND SUBMIT IT TO SOUTHEASTERN TRAIL RUNS.

The available dates are Thursday, March 19th, Friday, March 20th, Saturday, March 21st and Sunday, March 22nd. The room rental rate is $ 160.00 per night. There are no additional fees or taxes. The total rental is to be paid in full and sent with this registration form or paid through Ultrasignup. A check should be made out to Southern States Events and mailed with this reservation form and the Alabama State Park liability waiver attached, to Southern States Events, 220 Normandy Ln, Chelsea, AL 35043. The room may also be reserved through Ultrasignup. (Ultrasignup charges an additional fee.) Do not send a check when reserving through Ultrasignup. The full amount of the room rental will be refunded if you cancel your reservation on or before February 20, 2025. After that date, we will not be able to refund your registration fee unless another rents your room. The race will end at the Bald Rock Lodge. The lodge is located just steps from the end of the 1/3 mile long Bald Rock Boardwalk. The race will finish at the back patio of the lodge. We will have made-to-order food available all day and all night in the lodge, as runners finish. Have a little food when you finish, then go to your room, take a shower, and get some sleep. Later, come back for a real meal. You may want to crew to stay at Bald Rock Lodge before you arrive. The lodge is 17 miles from Fay’s Blowdown and 24 miles from Highrock Aid Station. The lodge is just over 9 miles from the last aid station at Lost Gulch. Your crew may request special permission to go to this aid station if your crew is staying at the lodge. Release and Indemnity Agreement - Group KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS THAT I/we

Being of lawful age, for and in consideration of entry on or the use of park land or property, do hereby release and forever discharge the State of Alabama, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Parks Division, or its agents, employees or partners, Southern States Events, or its agents, employees or partners and all persons associated with the Southern States 200, from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands for, upon, or by reason of any damage, loss, or injury, expenses and compensation whatsoever, which the undersigned now has/have or which hereafter may accrue on account of or in any way of growing out of any and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen bodily and personal injuries and property damage and the consequences therefore resulting or to result from the accident, casualty, or event which might occur while in the use of or upon park land or property. In further consideration of entry on or the use of park land and property, the undersigned herby agrees to save harmless and indemnify the said State of Alabama, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Parks Division, or its agents, employees or partners, of and from any and all expenses arising because of any claim which may hereafter be presented by anyone for loss and damage or personal injury as a result of any accident occurring in or upon park land. The undersigned further declare(s) and represent(s) that no promise, inducement or agreement not herein expressed has been made to the undersigned, and that this RELEASE contains the entire agreement between the parties hereto, and that the terms of this RELEASE are contractual and not a mere recital.
